BIS calls for evidence on EU proposals for a Posting of Workers Enforcement Directive

The European Commission recently published proposals for a Posting of Workers Enforcement Directive. BIS has now issued a call for evidence on these proposals, which are likely to have an impact on businesses that employ posted workers or post workers to other member states and workers posted to or from the UK, in particular those in the construction sector. Views and evidence are sought on the likely type and scale of this impact and will be used to inform the UK's negotiating position.

The call for evidence closes on 26 July 2012.
