The Daily Mail has hailed the Government’s decision to “rebalance” the licensing laws as a victory for the newspaper against twenty-four hour drinking laws. What may be good for the Daily Mail though is undoubtedly bad for the trade. This article is one in a series of six as we take an in-depth look at the proposed changes and whether or not they will have the desired effect.
