Trainee Solicitor / Declan Goodwin

Declan joined Maitland Walker's Minehead office as a Trainee Solicitor in April 2009. He studied Law at the University of Reading, and completed his Legal Practice Course at the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice based in the University of the West of England, Bristol.

Declan receives the majority of his legal training from the firm's EU and Competition Law, Corporate and Commercial departments, but also provides general assistance to all of the Minehead office's fee earners. Declan has also trained with the Litigation and Dispute Resolution department in Maitland Walker’s Cheltenham office.

Declan enjoys the high standard of work that the firm receives from its clients, particularly in the EU and Competition Department. Declan has studied for and been awarded a Post-Graduate Diploma in EC Competition Law at King's College London.
