Maitland Walker promotes three fee earners

Maitland Walker LLP is delighted to share the news that some of its fee earners have been promoted.

Solicitor Sheree-Ann Virgin of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution department has been promoted to Senior Associate status and solicitor David Hollier of the same department has been promoted to Associate Solicitor status. Sheree-Ann and David are based in the firm’s Minehead office. Solicitor Melanie Smith of the firm’s Property department has also been promoted to Associate Solicitor status. Melanie is based in the firm’s Taunton office.

 

Sheree-Ann joined the firm in 2009 after completing her degree at Oxford University and qualified as a solicitor with the firm in early 2013. Since qualification, she has specialised in competition law completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Competition Law at Kings College, London and has developed a practice in all types of dispute resolution and litigation with particular expertise and interest in multi-party litigation matters including competition law follow-on damages claims, cases involving the parallel import of pharmaceutical products and disputes concerning commercial property.  

David joined Maitland Walker in 2013 after graduating with first class honours from the University of Reading and has a varied practice of non-contentious corporate and commercial work on the one side including mergers and acquisitions, advising on business structure and commercial agreements. On the contentious side, David assists with all types of dispute resolution and litigation and is currently assisting on a high value, multi-party professional dispute brought by over 100 claimants.

Melanie joined Maitland Walker in 2011 after graduating with first class honours from the University of Bedfordshire and completing her training contract with the firm. Melanie now has over 7 years of experience in residential property and deals with high value sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity as well as some commercial property work. Melanie supervises the Residential Property Team.
