Is it time to update your Will?

We are hopefully now moving away from the unpleasantness of the last year and now is a good time to look at paperwork that needs reviewing.

It is worthwhile looking at your will and making sure that it still works as you would wish. Have there been any changes in your family, such as births, marriages or deaths? Tax laws also change from time to time and it is worth discussing your will with a professional every few years just to make sure that the will is as tax efficient as possible and there will be no nasty surprises for your beneficiaries.

It can be a nightmare for your beneficiaries if your will is not up to date and does not reflect your current wishes. For example, unmarried partners may find that they are not provided for as expected.
