He joined Maitland Walker as a trainee in 2002 and was admitted as a solicitor in September 2004. He completed his law degree at Middlesex University during which he was awarded the Ruynski Eurocabinet Prize for excellence in European and competition law studies. He went on to obtain a commendation on the Legal Practice Course at Gray’s Inn School of Law.

Ben deals with a variety of commercial matters, including;
- Sales and acquisitions of commercial property
- Landlord and tenant law
- Estate management
His clients range from high street office/shop owners to multi-national companies with large property portfolios. With Maitland Walker’s close ties with the licensed trade, the department regularly act on transactions involving the leisure sectors, in including public houses, hotels, leisure centres and gaming/amusement arcades around the country.
His clients include a national leading player in the amusement/adult gaming sector, which he provides estate management support in respect of their substantial property portfolio.
The department has seen a growth in the number of transactions involving residential, commercial and mixed use development land, acting for both land owners and developers.
Ben also specialises in agricultural property law, and regularly acts on sales and acquisitions of farms/manor houses and agricultural land.
